Drupal 8 Theming - Part 21 - Pathauto

In this episode of Drupal 8 Theming tutorial I'm going to show you how to use Pathauto module to create pretty URLs for your site.

Pathauto is a module that allows you to create patterns for your URLs. For example you can set it to show all the articles URLs to something like "articles/date/name-of-article" instead of "node/12" , which is not very human readable as you can imagine.

Pathauto is one of those modules that is on most popular modules lists for years. I'm surprised that it still didn't make it's way into the core. Well, maybe in Drupal 9...
